Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for detecting an abnormal state of a beacon device in a wireless mesh network and a recording medium storing a computer program for executing the method. The present invention may monitor service traffic for each beacon device, detect a beacon that does not operate normally according to a change in the amount of service traffic, and prevent interference using a state check message, and thus efficiently manage a wireless mesh network. The present invention may also upgrade firmware of the beacon device in the wireless mesh network without stopping networking.

Abstract: A method and apparatus provide an indoor travel path based on a beacon. In an embodiment, the apparatus extracts, as a target beacon, at least one beacon device corresponding to at least one destination and also extracts, as an intermediate beacon, one or more beacon devices intervening between the target beacon and a user's terminal device. Then the apparatus establishes a link connecting the target beacon and the intermediate beacon and, based on the established link, calculates one or more paths configured to start from a current location of the terminal device, to pass through the intermediate beacon, and to arrive at the target beacon. Further, the apparatus selects a travel path having the minimum number of link hops from among the calculated paths and offers it to the terminal device.

Abstract: A beacon device connection method implemented by a beacon management server is provided. Also, a method for constructing a beacon network by connecting a plurality of beacon devices is provided. The beacon network construction method may be implemented by a master beacon connected with at least one slave beacon to control the slave beacon and connected with at least one neighboring master beacon or a beacon management server to exchange information.

Abstract: A divided payment method and an apparatus and system for the method. According to this invention, a mobile communication device receives virtual payment information of a person participating in divided payment from at least one another mobile communication device or a payment service apparatus. After creating divided payment request information by using own payment information and the received virtual payment information, the mobile communication device requests the divided payment by transmitting the created divided payment request information to the payment device. Therefore, even though only one person among several persons participating in mobile payment transacts payment, the divided payment is performed for all persons. Also, since payment information of a person participating in the divided payment is offered in the form of virtual payment information to the mobile communication device transacting payment, it is possible to remove danger of misuse due to offering payment information to other person.

Abstract: A method for receiving a data service is disclosed. A method for handoff in content transmission comprises the steps of: receiving status information of a data service via short-distance wireless communication from a first device receiving a data service of a specific content through a server; transmitting the status information of the data service to the server; and continuing the reception of the data service being transmitted to the first device from the server. Accordingly, there is an effect of convenience because another apparatus continuously services a corresponding data service during the reception of a specific data service using a specific device.
