    Abstract: A method for positioning and supporting a tree having a tree stem and a rootball is disclosed wherein a hole is formed in a ground surface. Anchors are positioned within the hole. Block fragments are positioned around the tree stem. A securing member is disposed around the block fragments and the tree stem for securing the block fragments to the tree stem. The rootball is positioned within the hole. A tension member is connected to the securing member and the anchors. A tightening member is connected to the tension member for adjusting the tension of the tension member for retaining and tree within the hole. Thereafter, the rootball positioned within the hole is buried.
