  • Patent number: 11946602
Abstract: In some configurations, a supply-chain characteristic-vectors merchandising system and a method for an environmental characteristic-vectors of a gas communicating from an upstream amenity to a downstream amenity in a supply-chain may be disclosed. The system may be configured to track oil and/or gas throughout the supply-chain by associating characteristic-vectors (e.g., environmental, operational, physical etc.) of the upstream amenity and the downstream amenity with the energy units of the gas transmitted through the supply-chain.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 2, 2024
    Assignee: PROJECT CANARY, PBC
Inventors: William J. Foiles, Ryan E. Brush, Nathan C. Eichenlaub, Kieran J. Lynn
  • Patent number: 11887203
Abstract: In one illustrative configuration, a system and method of air quality monitor minimization/optimization is disclosed. The method may include providing at least a first air quality monitor on a site. The first air quality monitor may be configured to generate a first set of attached parameters. The method may further include providing a SCADA system, on the site, configured to generate a set of SCADA data. The SCADA data, the first set of attached parameters may be processed to determine a redundant/sub-optimized air quality monitor, which may be removed. In other illustrative configurations, the system and method may be utilized to locate and/or quantify emissions.

  • Publication number: 20240027415
Abstract: In one illustrative configuration, a method of locating an emission source of a target substance at a site is disclosed. The method may include obtaining predicted substance concentrations of the target substance from a prediction model to generate a mapping of a weighted mean of the plurality of the predicted substance concentrations grouped in a predetermined number of feature groups. A simulated plume model is generated for each emission source present at the site to calculate representative circular normal distributions for each air quality monitor. By performing an analysis of the plurality of representative circular normal distributions in relation to the mapping, a target emission source is identified.
