    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for reducing Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) in Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulation. A set of low complexity transformations is applied to an OFDM signal to generate a plurality of differently transformed OFDM signals. One of the plurality of differently transformed OFDM signals having a lowest PAPR is selected. The selected one of the plurality of differently transformed OFDM signals is transmitted.
