Abstract: A pattern-forming sheet or label which is so flexible as to be expediently patterned, can provide a heat resistant or chemical resistant pattern to a product to be labeled, and can be subjected to high temperature atmosphere without burning treatment is provided, comprising a bonded laminate of a base layer obtained by shaping a low-melting glass powder into a sheet with a low-temperature decomposable acrylic polymer, and an ink-receptive layer made of a silicone resin layer containing an inorganic powder. Further, a novel label is provided, having a transfer pattern made of an ink containing an inorganic colorant formed on the ink-receptive layer of the pattern-forming sheet.

Abstract: A release agent comprising a polyfunctional alkoxysiloxane and an organic compound which is solid at room temperature and contains a functional group capable of reacting with said polyfunctional alkoxysiloxane, and a composite material comprising a substrate and a cured film of the release agent are disclosed. The cured film of the release agent exhibits high strength and excellent release properties without causing blocking or contamination on an adherent.

Abstract: An aqueous composition for forming a release coating layer on a substrate, comprising 100 parts by weight (solids basis) of a mixture of aqueous components of polysiloxanes and from about 20 to 100 parts by weight (solids basis) of an aqueous resin having film-forming ability, wherein the non-volatile content is from about 1 to 60% by weight. The aqueous composition is applied onto a non-permeable substrate to provide a substrate having thereon a release coating layer, which is suitable for use in the production, for example, of a surface protective sheet or tape, and a pressure-sensitive sheet or tape.
