  • Patent number: 4827109
Abstract: A photographic printing system comprising a printer-processor; a plurality of non-contact IC cards in which various printing conditions, printer-processor operating conditions, and the like are stored; and an IC card read-write unit for reading and writing data on the above-mentioned conditions. The plurality of IC cards are used selectively according to printing purposes and are inserted into the read-write unit. When the selected IC card is inserted into the read-write unit, the read-write unit accesses the data stored in the IC card to set the printer-processor automatically to the printing and operating conditions suitable for the printing purpose. After printing, the read-write unit writes the printing conditions and conditions under which the printer-processor has acutally been operated in the IC card.

  • Patent number: 4797712
Abstract: A color negative inspection apparatus includes at least one color image display device which displays a plurality of color positive images of a single frame of a color negative film for inspection, one of the plurality of color positive images being displayed through simulation for a standardized printing exposure condition of a printing apparatus to which the color negative film is fed upon printing and the remaining through automatic simulation for at least one of color and density corrections stepwise over or under in respect to the one of the plurality of color positive images. If there is no color positive images corrected suitably for printing, the one of the plurality of color images is manually corrected in color and density and thereby the remaining are correspondingly corrected for inspection.

  • Patent number: 4768811
Abstract: A card with a photograph is of at least four-layer structure. The card includes: a display sheet made by printing a composite image of a portrait image and a character image such as a name on a photographic paper; a plastic frame sheet in which the display sheet is fitted; at least one plastic core sheet attached to the back surface of the frame sheet; a transparent plastic first cover sheet attached to the front surface of the frame sheet; a second cover sheet attached to the back surface of the core sheet; and an adhesive layer bonding the display sheet and the first cover sheet. The frame sheet, at least one core sheet, and the two cover sheets are made of a heat and pressure-weldable plastic such as a polyvinyl chloride resin. These four sheets are stacked one upon another, sandwiched between two ferro-type plates, and pressure-welded with heat, so that the four plastic sheets are pressure-welded with heat and the display sheet and the first cover sheet are heat-sealed.

  • Patent number: 4742375
Abstract: An apparatus for making a print in which a photographic image on a photographic original and a CRT image displayed on a CRT display device are selectively printed on a photographic paper and developed. The apparatus includes projection units each for projecting a photograph image or a CRT image on a photographic paper, an exposure control unit for holding a photographic paper in an exposure position and controlling exposure of the photographic paper, and a photograph development processing unit for developing an exposed photographic paper. The projection units are selectively used in accordance with an image to be exposed and optically coupled with the exposure control unit. In addition, the apparatus is useful for automatically making prints, in combination with a cutter for cutting a photograph print from a developed photographic paper into pieces, each comprising one frame and a punching cutter for punching out a photograph print into pieces each comprising one frame.

  • Patent number: 4719484
Abstract: A photosensitive material guide structure for use in a developing apparatus adapted to develop a photosensitive material having been subjected to light exposure has at least one pair of feed rollers which feed forward the photosensitive material while clamping it therebetween within the developing apparatus. Both axial end portions of at least one of the pair of feed rollers are reduced in diameter. Accordingly, when the rollers clamp the photosensitive material to feed it, both the lateral edge portions of the photosensitive material are subjected to a clamping force which is weaker than that applied to the other portion of the material.
