  • Patent number: 12361355
Abstract: An integrated well construction system for constructing a well includes equipment controllers which control drilling equipment, and a process controller operatively connected to the equipment controllers. The process controller includes a drilling control module which defines an operational drilling scheme and a task manager module. The operational drilling scheme has a first part to control the drilling equipment, a second part with manual tasks and/or automated tasks to be performed, and a relation between an execution of control of the drilling equipment via the first plan and of manual tasks and/or the automated tasks via the second plan. The task manager module has a user interface, a task refinement component which updates the second part, and a user interaction device which provides a manual addition of new manual tasks and/or new automated tasks, and a removal or amendment of at least one of the manual tasks and/or the automated tasks.

  • Patent number: 10822895
Abstract: Mud return flow measurements are made from multiple locations using radar-based surface level sensors. Using the inputs from two different sensors on the drilling mud return line provides the ability to calculate the actual flow based on pipe geometry, the speed of the surface of the fluid and parameters such as fluid viscosity and density.

  • Publication number: 20160029734
Abstract: A facemask for use on a user's face includes a substantially rigid body portion having side edges on either side thereof, arms extending rearwardly from each of the side edges of the body portion, and connectors coupled to the arms. The facemask is configured to be positioned over the bottom part of a user's face in order to cover the cheeks, chin, and/or nose of the user. The connectors are coupled to the arms in order to mount each of the arms onto a mount and to hold the body portion in position on a user's face. The connectors are removable from a mount upon the application of a predetermined level of force and replaceable on a mount.
