Abstract: Examples of a hood structure for a garment are disclosed. The hood structure includes a first hood portion for covering at least a portion of a wearer's head. The first hood portion has an outer surface, an inner surface, and an opening edge that defines a face opening when the hood structure is worn by the wearer. The hood structure also includes a second hood portion with an attachment edge that is attached to the outer surface of the first hood portion and an unattached edge. The second hood portion reversibly pivots around the attachment edge between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the second hood portion at least partially covers the first hood portion. In the second position, the second hood portion at least partially covers the face opening.
