  • Publication number: 20240124198
Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to contain and dispense a fluid, such as a thixotropic fluid. In some embodiments, a bottle having a closure cap includes a control device, a base, and a disk, where the base and disk define a mixing chamber configured to facilitate mixing of any serum or liquid separated from the fluid back therein. In some embodiments, a dispensing bottle includes a non-removable closure cap with a tamper evident feature that indicates whether the cap was previously opened. By one approach, the dispensing bottle includes discontinuous threads on a bottle neck and ratchet projections on a closure cap that engage the discontinuous thread(s) to prevent or inhibit manual removal of the cap from the bottle.

  • Publication number: 20230309756
Abstract: A condiment dispensing pump system is provided that includes a valve chamber and a valve retainer having a first portion defining a valve cavity and a second portion for coupling to an inlet flow path. A one-way valve is removably insertable into the valve cavity. The one-way valve includes a tether portion coupled to the second portion of the valve retainer such that the one-way valve is removable from the valve cavity while still tethered to the valve retainer. The condiment dispensing pump system includes a spout having a first end fluidly coupled to the valve cavity and a second end opposite the first end. A dispensing nozzle is removably attached to the second end of the spout, the dispensing nozzle being tethered to the spout tube such that when the dispensing nozzle is detached from the second end of the spout the dispensing nozzle remains tethered to the spout tube.

  • Publication number: 20230294907
Abstract: In one aspect, a condiment dispenser for discharging condiment from a condiment container is disclosed. The condiment dispenser includes a housing configured to surround at least a portion of the condiment container when installed in the housing. A spout extends from the condiment dispenser for discharging the condiment from the dispenser. A pump is positioned within the housing to force condiment to the spout and out of the condiment dispenser. The condiment dispenser further includes a substantially continuous flow path having an inlet configured to couple to the condiment container and an outlet in the spout for discharging the condiment, the substantially continuous flow path installed as a single unit from the inlet to the outlet and extending through the pump.
