Abstract: The present invention provides a means of using transmitted radio and/or TV signals to automatically turn on a receiver in order to broadcast emergency information. It is comprised of a radio or TV transmitter that has the capability of broadcasting a digital code, and a receiver capable of interpreting the code and automatically turning on if the code tells it to do so.
