  • Patent number: 8555463
Abstract: The present invention may be used to groom animals, humans and textile objects, and to collect hair, debris and other matter. There may be a head with a top and bottom wall attached to two side walls to define a front side opening. The top and the bottom walls may have a generally trapezoidal shape and the front side opening may be larger than a back wall. The handle may have a conduit with a first end in communication with an interior of the head adjacent the back wall and a second end open at an exit end. The conduit may have a nondecreasing cross-sectional interior dimension from the first end to the second end. The first end diameter may be smaller than the back wall width. The head may have on the top wall a cavity adjacent the front side and an aperture for attachment of a grooming device.

Abstract: The present invention may be used oscillate a movable blade of a clipper. A lever may be a drive finger attached to a rotator member and a motor lever arm attached to the rotator member approximately opposite the drive finger along a longitudinal axis. A rotator bearing cavity of generally cylindrical shape may be formed in the rotator member and may be sized for insertion of a rotator bearing. A bottom wall of the rotator bearing cavity may have an aperture sized to allow fluid to flow through the aperture adjacent a lever shaft inserted through the rotator bearing and the aperture. • Patent number: 4531291
Abstract: The clipper is driven by a flexible shaft from a stationary motor supported by a stand clamped to an edge of a grooming table. Because the motor is not incorporated in the clipper casing as characterizes prior art clippers, the casing is lighter, operates at a cooler temperature and can be made more powerful by utilizing a motor of higher rated horsepower and rpm than the smaller type motors incorporated in a clipper casing.
