    Abstract: The present application discloses a silicone-based fouling-release coat comprising a polysiloxane-based binder matrix constituting at least 40% by dry weight of said coat, wherein more than 65% by weight of said binder matrix is represented by polysiloxane parts, and comprising one or more poly(oxyalkylene)-modified alcohols, e.g. poly(oxyalkylene)-modified sterols, and one or more biocides.
