Abstract: A beverage dispensing system for dispensing beverage from a beverage container, having a dispense head adapted to be connected to the beverage container. The dispense head having a housing having a through-going bore, and an activation handle pivotally mounted to the housing and movable between at least a deactivated position and an activated position. The beverage dispensing system further having a replaceable connection unit adapted to be connected with the dispense head and having a hollow piston member removably insertable into the bore of the housing and a dispensing line connected to the hollow piston member, whereby the hollow piston member is axially displaceable between a deactivated position and an activated position, and when in the activated position, the hollow piston member fluidly connects the extractor tube and the dispensing line to dispense beverage from the beverage container.
