Abstract: A simple and cost-effective vibration-reduction system, adapted for easy application to and/or retrofit of essentially any picket-style railing, wherein each of a plurality of support members is positioned along a wire, wherein each support member is frictionally secured to a picket, and wherein each support member is adapted to allow for tensioned adjustment of the wire relative thereto, such that the wire may be adjustably positioned across the picket span to relate the pickets at a desired tension, effectively decreasing picket vibration and realized decibels without impacting the structural integrity of the pickets and with minimal impact on view, thereby maximizing functionality and aesthetic appearance.
