    Abstract: A conduit apparatus includes a slide plate between faces of flanges connecting a first and second conduit portions. Upper and lower fasteners extend through bolt holes in the flanges above and below the slide plate. Right aid left fasteners extend through bolt holes in the flanges and through bolt holes in the slide plate. The slide plate can be located in a first position where the right and left fasteners extend through a first set of bolt holes in the slide plate and where a first portion of the slide plate is between the faces of the flanges, and in a second position where the right and left fasteners extend through a second set of bolt holes in the slide plate and where a second portion of the slide plate is between the faces of the flanges. The slide plate can be configured to allow or block or restrict flow.
