Abstract: The present invention relates to placenta-derived cells excreting C3 or C1R complement proteins, a pharmaceutical composition containing same, and a method for treating diseases using the placenta-derived cells. The placenta-derived cells, according to the present invention, can be effectively applied to Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, HIV, neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia and epilepsy, or angiogenesis-related diseases such as cancer and retinopathy, thereby having high industrial utility.
