Abstract: A visual exploration system presents one or more interfaces for selection and purchase of one or more travel packages. Using the presented interfaces, a user may input his or her preferences and may also select one or more travel exploration representations (“TERS”). Based on the selected TERs, the disclosed system may present a refined set of TERs, or may present suggested travel packages or travel package components for purchase, or about which additional information may be requested. The disclosed system may rank and/or weight the presented TERs and travel packages. The disclosed system may further include other types of purchase exploration representations to find application in other types of purchases, such as real estate, interior design, fashion, and auto sales.
