  • Patent number: 11988557
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for use in determination of the presence, type (static or AC), direction, and/or strength of an electric field. Methods include examination of a gaseous sample to determine the presence of perturbation effects brought about by dielectrophoretic forces acting on components of the gaseous sample, and thereby, to identify the presence of an electric field. Examination of a gaseous sample can include Raman spectroscopy. A gaseous sample can be analyzed to determine the presence of molecular polarization due to an induced dipole on a polarizable molecule.

  • Publication number: 20240117030
Abstract: The present invention relates to antibodies that specifically bind to one or more of IL-4, IL-13, IL-33, TSLP, and p40. The present invention further relates to antibodies that bind to one of IL-4, IL-13, IL-33, or TSLP. The invention further relates to multispecific antibodies that specifically bind to IL-4 and IL-13, and at least one other target. The present invention relates to multispecific antibodies that bind IL-4, IL-13, and one of IL-33, TSLP, or p40. The present invention also pertains to related molecules, e.g. nucleic acids which encode such antibodies or multispecific antibodies, compositions, and related methods, e.g., methods for producing and purifying such antibodies and multispecific antibodies, and their use in diagnostics and therapeutics.

  • Publication number: 20240082129
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to hair coloring base compositions and ready-to-use hair coloring compositions comprising 2-methoxymethyl-P-phenylenediamine, an oxidative dye precursor. The hair coloring base composition is mixed with a developer composition to form a ready-to-use hair coloring composition having a lower than typical pH, 7. These compositions are effective for coloring hair, especially beard hair. The color imparted to the hair is long-lasting (tenacious) and skin sensitivity due to the coloring process is minimized or prevented. Methods for making the composition and methods for coloring hair, especially beard hair, are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240065636
Abstract: An oximeter probe that takes into account tissue color (e.g., skin color or melanin content) to improve accuracy when determining oxygen saturation of tissue. Light is transmitted from a light source into tissue having melanin (e.g., eumelanin or pheomelanin). Light reflected from the tissue is received by a detector. A compensation factor is determined to account for absorption due to the melanin. The oximeter uses this compensation factor and determines a melanin-corrected oxygen saturation value.

  • Publication number: 20040205989
Abstract: The labeling device of the present invention includes a set of elastic bands. The elastic bands include an indicator, which identifies at least one characteristic relating to contents within a baby bottle. In one embodiment, the indicator is color-coding of the elastic bands. In another embodiment, the indicator is a day of the week printed on each elastic band. In a preferred embodiment, multiple indicators are used. For example, the elastic bands are both color-coded and have the days of the week printed on them. In this embodiment, each color preferably corresponds to a printed day of the week. The elastic bands are sized to fit snugly around baby bottles.
