  • Publication number: 20250075373
Abstract: A method of forming an organic solid crystal (OSC) thin film includes forming a molecular feedstock of an organic solid crystal precursor and a molecular dopant, forming a layer of the molecular feedstock over a surface of a substrate, forming crystal nuclei from the organic solid crystal precursor within a nucleation region of the layer of molecular feedstock, and growing the crystal nuclei to form a doped organic solid crystal thin film.

  • Publication number: 20250075372
Abstract: A structure includes an organic solid crystal and an encapsulation layer disposed over at least one surface of the organic solid crystal. The encapsulation layer is configured to inhibit mechanical and chemical degradation of the organic solid crystal and may include an organic or inorganic compound, such as silicon dioxide.

  • Publication number: 20250081719
Abstract: A device includes a light-emitting diode having an emissive surface, where the emissive surface includes a doped organic solid crystal. The light-emitting diode may include an organic light-emitting diode (OLED). The doped organic solid crystal may be a single crystal.

  • Publication number: 20190385485
Abstract: An intravenous injection practice assembly for practicing intravenous injections includes a prosthesis that is structured to resemble a human arm. The prosthesis is comprised of a compressible material such that the prosthesis is analogous to the human arm. Thus, the prosthesis can be pierced by an intravenous needle during practicing intravenous injection. A control circuit is positioned within the prosthesis and a sensing array is positioned within the prosthesis. The sensing array is electrically coupled to the control circuit and the control circuit receives a first input when the sensing array senses that the intravenous needle has touched the sensing array. An alert is coupled to the prosthesis and the alert is electrically coupled to the control circuit. The alert is turned on when the control circuit receives the first input to communicate to user that the user has inserted the intravenous needle a proper depth into the prosthesis.
