  • Patent number: 10009163
Abstract: A base station is capable of efficiently notifying a terminal of control information. The base station communicates with the terminal using a sub-frame including a plurality of resource block pairs. The base station sets a second control channel region in the terminal through RRC signaling that is higher-layer control information, the second control channel region being a region set differently from a first control channel region in which a first control channel is to be arranged. The base station transmits control information for the terminal by mapping the control information to a second control channel that is to be arranged in the second control channel region. The first control channel region is set in the sub-frame to be specific to the base station, and the second control channel region is set in the sub-frame to be specific to the terminal in units of the resource block pairs.

  • Patent number: 10009858
Abstract: With respect to uplink carrier aggregation, transmit power in a serving cell (c) is determined on the basis of maximum output power (PCMAX,C) for the serving cell c and total maximum output power (PCMAX). The maximum output power (PCMAX, C) for the serving cell (c) is based on maximum output power (PPowerClass) defined by a power class corresponding to a band to which the serving cell (c) belongs, and the total maximum output power (PCMAX) is based on maximum output power (PPowerClass) defined by a power class corresponding to a combination of aggregated bands.

  • Publication number: 20180146457
Abstract: In a wireless communication system in which a base station communicates with a terminal, the base station efficiently notifies of control information for the terminal. A base station apparatus maps an EPDCCH to any of candidates of the EPDCCH included in each of a first EPDCCH set and a second EPDCCH set which are configured by RRC signaling, and a mobile station apparatus monitors the candidate of the EPDCCH. The candidate of EPDCCH is determined at least based on the number of resource elements satisfying a predetermined criterion in one of physical resource block pairs that are configured for EPDCCH transmission in the first EPDCCH set.

  • Publication number: 20180138961
Abstract: A wireless communication device may autonomously transition from a multiple antenna port mode to a single antenna port mode. The wireless communication device may implicitly notify a base station about the autonomous transition from the multiple antenna port mode to the single antenna port mode. The base station may reallocate resources that were previously allocated to the wireless communication device but that are no longer being used by the wireless communication device.
