  • Patent number: 11840981
Abstract: At least one thermal barrier coating member mounted on an inner wall surface, facing a combustion chamber of an engine, of a cylinder liner accommodating a piston slidably along an axial direction, is provided with: a base layer configured to be detachably fitted into a recess formed in the inner wall surface of the cylinder liner; and a thermal barrier coating layer formed on an opposite side of the base layer from the inner wall surface of the cylinder liner. The thermal barrier coating layer is disposed above a piston ring which is positioned at an uppermost position in the axial direction of the cylinder liner when the piston reaches top dead center.

  • Patent number: 9234458
Abstract: A cylinder head of a stationary gas engine is provided with a cylinder internal pressure sensor. An engine frame is provided with an instrumentation device installation device. An amplifier for amplifying a signal detected by the cylinder internal pressure sensor is fixed to the instrumentation device installation device. The instrumentation device installation device includes a suspending tool formed of a fixing plate which is in contact with a horizontal plane and is fixed thereto by bolts, an extension plate bent at a right angle to the fixing plate, and a suspending plate bent at a right angle to the extension plate and arranged in parallel with the fixing plate, and a coil spring connected at one end thereof to the suspending plate, and connected at the other end thereof to a fixing band for holding the amplifier.

  • Patent number: 9080531
Abstract: A cylinder structure satisfies the following conditions: 12%?d/a?27%, where d is a distance between a cylinder inner surface 12a and an exhaust valve member 20b, and a is a diameter of the exhaust valve member; 40%?c/b?50%, where c is a length of a non-guided portion of the exhaust valve 20 located below a lower end of a sleeve 26 when the exhaust valve 20 is closed, and b is a diameter of a cylinder bore; and 0.5%?e/S?0.8%, where e is a gap between an exhaust valve rod 20a and the sleeve 26 and S is a diameter of the exhaust valve rod 20a.

  • Patent number: 8826883
Abstract: Provided is a gas engine having a spark plug provided with a pre-combustion chamber and a check valve, the gas engine, in which the check valve is arranged in the neighborhood of the pre-combustion chamber, being capable of preventing adhesion of a solenoid controlled valve provided at an upstream side of the check valve due to soot accumulation, and dead volume in a fuel inlet passage. In a gas engine in which fuel gas is supplied to the pre-combustion chamber through the fuel gas inlet passage and the fuel gas supplied in the pre-combustion chamber is ignited by spark discharge at the spark plug that is fitted to a mounting hardware piece via a seat surface, a solenoid valve for performing open-close control of the fuel gas is provided, and a first check valve is also provided posterior to a discharge side of the solenoid valve so as to prevent back flow of the combustion gas from the pre-combustion chamber to the solenoid controlled valve.
