    Abstract: A power converter comprising: a power conversion circuit to convert an input power into a direct current power or an alternating current power; a base member made of resin on which the power conversion circuit is mounted; a cover member, wherein the power conversion circuit is housed between the cover member and the base member; a coolant flow path provided in an interior of the base member, through which a coolant for cooling the power conversion circuit is circulated; and a temperature sensor provided on the base member, to sense the temperature of the coolant circulating through the coolant flow path, wherein the temperature sensor has a conductive member including at least a thermistor, and at least a part of the conductive member is surrounded by a resin wall formed of an insulating material.

    Abstract: A cooling structure is provided for a power conversion device such as an inverter. The cooling structure has a power converter, a cooler and a fixing bolt. The cooler has a refrigerant channel through which refrigerant flowing into from an exterior flows. The fixing bolt secures the power converter to the cooler in a state in which the power converter and the refrigerant channel are disposed opposite each other. The refrigerant channel has a main pathway disposed opposite the power converter and through which refrigerant flows, and an expanded pathway having a channel that is expanded from the main pathway to a bolt end of the fixing bolt.

    Abstract: An elastic seal member is formed at the surface of a metal plate included in a gasket, which faces toward a lid, and another elastic seal member is formed at the surface of the metal plate facing toward a side wall. At the metal plate, the seal member is disposed further inward relative to the other seal member fitted in a seal groove. As bolts are tightened, the seal members become compressed and deformed, causing the seal member to press the metal plate against an exposed portion of an inner wall portion and the other seal member to press the metal plate against the lid.
