Abstract: Provided is a management system for managing a plurality of management target information processing apparatuses including a plurality of network apparatuses and a computer. This management system determines the reachability of a route network apparatus as a network apparatus on a communication between the system and the computer, and calculates a certainty factor concerning the certainty on whether a prescribed network apparatus contained in a route network apparatus based on the reachability is the cause of unreachability from the management system to the computer. The management system subsequently displays information showing that communication from the management system to the computer is unreachable, and the certainty factor as the certainty that the prescribed route network apparatus is the cause of unreachability.

Abstract: A computer subsystem is provided with a switch apparatus group that is at least one switch apparatus that is coupled to the communication network and a plurality of communication apparatuses that includes an internal management apparatus (an internal apparatus). The internal management apparatus transmits a request of a plurality of IP addresses that are allocated to the plurality of communication apparatuses to an external management apparatus that is disposed outside the computer subsystem. The external management apparatus manages whether or not each of M static IP addresses can be allocated, specifies a plurality of static IP addresses that can be allocated in response to the request, and transmits the plurality of specified static IP addresses to the internal management apparatus. The internal management apparatus allocates the plurality of static IP addresses to a plurality of internal apparatus.

Abstract: A computer system for providing a remote access service includes a unit for acquiring information on a relation between a terminal and a user using the terminal, a unit for acquiring network information about the terminal, a unit for acquiring network information about a blade that the terminal will access, a unit for acquiring information on a relation between the blade and a storage area, and a management server for extracting information on the user and its usage information and providing these information in real time. The management server also has a unit for permitting an administrator of the management server, persons other than the user and a management program to use the blade.

Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to analyze a problem spanning multiple domains. A management apparatus stores an analysis rule. The analysis rule defines a relationship between a causal event, which constitutes a cause of a problem, and multiple relevant events, which denote problems created by the causal event. A first management apparatus acquires a relevant event related to a prescribed node apparatus, which is not under management of the first management apparatus, from a second management apparatus, which manages the prescribed node apparatus. The first management apparatus analyzes a problem by applying the relevant event acquired from the second management apparatus and another relevant event related to a node apparatus under the management of the first management apparatus to the analysis rule.

A path information generation part receives a destination IP address designated by a user, through an input receiving part. When the input of the destination IP address is received, the path information generation part uses configuration information tables, each of which stores configuration information of a device on a network, to identify IP addresses of networks each having a plurality of terminals, as branch IP addresses. The path information generation part uses the configuration information tables and transfer destination information tables each storing a routing table of a router, to identify the connection order of routers between the designated destination IP address and the identified branch IP addresses, to generate path information.

Abstract: A management server monitors even the occurrence of items, which are not targets of security policies, evaluates a change of the monitoring result, and implements specific output when necessary. Particularly, also regarding items which are considered to be non-targets of the security policies in management based on the security policies, the occurrence of such items is also monitored and the monitoring result is appropriately reported to an administrator so that the administrator can recognize a threat and takes necessary countermeasure at appropriate timing.

Abstract: To provide a fault analysis result classification function capable of reducing the time required to eliminate a fault in a monitoring target apparatus. The fault analysis results (fault cause candidates) obtained during the fault analysis processing are classified for the influence range of each of the fault cause candidates by analyzing which of the other fault cause candidates relate to the fault events of the apparatus abnormal state, which are used as the basis to derive the each of the fault cause candidates. Further, the classification results are displayed on a GUI.
