Abstract: A sock that has a bulge portion (11) extending vertically of the toes that, in the intermediate portion of a toe portion (10) covering the toes, is disposed in the instep (10b) and/or sole (10a) of the foot, whereby when the toes are inserted in the toe portion (10), the bulge portion (11) allows the toe portion (10) to deform easily along the toes, thus making the insertion of the toes smooth at the time of wearing and, on completion of wearing, providing room around the toes by the bulge portion (11) so as to avoid a feeling of excessive tightening.
