  • Patent number: 6554817
Abstract: A device for disposing excrement is provided which can feed air to an interior of a diaper cup main body 2. The diaper cup main body 2 forms a space A as a passage for feeding the air from an air feed hose to air blow ports 2e, 2f, 2g of the diaper cup main body. The space A is formed by joining together an upper cup 2a and a lower cup 2b. The upper cup 2a is adapted to be placed on a pelvic region of a human body and has the air blow ports 2e, 2f, 2g. The lower cup 2b has a connecting cylinder portion 2i to be connected to a wash-water feed hose 17, a connecting cylinder portion 2h to be connected to an excrement suction hose 16, and a connecting cylindrical portion 2j to be connected to an air feed hose 18.

  • Patent number: 6443939
Abstract: A device for disposing excrement is provided which prevents irritation of the skin of a sick person or the like wearing a diaper cup. The device for disposing excrement has a diaper cup main body 2 enclosing a pelvic region of a human body, a discharge port 2d to discharge the excrement excreted in the diaper cup main body 2, an anus wash nozzle to eject liquid for washing away the excrement, sensors 13, 14 to detect the excrement excreted in the diaper cup main body 2, and a changeable diaper 3 removably provided on the diaper cup main body 2. A buffer member 25 is interposed between the diaper cup main body 2 and the changeable diaper 3.

  • Patent number: 5757097
Abstract: The invention is intended to facilitate surface processing for generation of dynamic pressure and to prevent degradation of the bearing performance due to temperature changes. To this end, a shaft is composed of an axially magnetized magnet and shafts of magnetic material holding the magnet therebetween. The shaft is press-fitted in an insertion hole in a non-magnetic sleeve. Pole pieces are placed on the upper and lower edges of a hole in a motor hub. Clearances defined by the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve and the inner peripheral surface of the motor hub are filled with a magnetic fluid. In order to generate a dynamic pressure in the magnetic fluid, surface processing is applied not to the magnet but to the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve. Further, the thermal expansion coefficient of the sleeve is greater than that of the motor hub.

  • Patent number: 5681297
Abstract: A device for disposing excrement, comprising a diaper cup (1) having a main body (101) for encompassing a human body's hip and buttocks, a washing water sending hose (105) connected to the main body (101) for passing washing water to an interior of the diaper cup (1), and a human waste sucking hose (104) connected to the main body (101) for sucking washing water and waste from the interior of the diaper cup (1). A front cover (103) is mounted to the main body (101) of the diaper cup (1) through bellows joints (102) so that the front cover (103) can be freely bent. A sensor coupler (107) is electrically connected to a bowel movement perceiving sensor (109) mounted to the main body (101) of the diaper cup (1). The washing water sending hose (105), human waste sucking hose (104), and sensor coupler (107) are bundled together into a single hose unit (123) to facilitate attachment and removal of the hoses and sensor coupler from the main body (101) of the diaper cup (1).

  • Patent number: 4605233
Abstract: A magnetic fluid sealing device has a housing, a shaft accommodated in the housing, a plurality of permanent magnets disposed, in series, coaxially with each other, and polepieces disposed between the two adjoining magnets. The polepieces have one or more concave grooves to form a plurality of knife edges for concentrating magnetic flux. The density of magnetic flux passing through the edge or edges located adjacent to a vacuum environment is more increased than that through other edges.

  • Patent number: 4572779
Abstract: A process for improving the fluidity of hydrocarbon fractions by dewaxing thereof. In the present process, hydrocarbon fractions are contacted with hydrogen in the presence of a specific type of catalyst, thereby lowering the pour point of the hydrocarbon fraction. The catalyst comprises a specific type of zeolite which is defined by a specific X-ray diffraction pattern and which has a predetermined range of mesitylene adsorption of not less than 1.6 wt %. The zeolite catalyst is obtained by providing an aqueous reaction mixture of SiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, an alkaline source as OH.sup.-, and a carboxyl group-containing organic compound having the following composition:______________________________________ SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 20-60 H.sub.2 O/SiO.sub.2 5-100 OH.sup.- /SiO.sub.2 0.1-0.35 ______________________________________and reacting the mixture until crystals are produced. Advantageously, the ratio of the carboxyl group-containing organic compound to aluminum oxide is about 1.0 to 100.
