  • Patent number: 9839221
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to make it possible that a pyridine antibacterial/antifungal agent is dispersed stably in a liquid for appropriate impartation of the pyridine antibacterial/antifungal agent to fibers, and that when fibers are processed with the agent which is mixed with various other treating agents such as dyes and softeners, there is no negative influences on the process of the fibers for imparting antibacterial/antifungal properties. An antibacterial/antifungal properties-imparting agent contains a pyridine antibacterial/antifungal agent; a modified polysaccharide having reduced hydroxyl groups; and a wetting agent; but does not contain a surfactant. After applying the antibacterial/antifungal properties-imparting agent to fibers, the fibers undergo a heating process.

  • Patent number: 6029093
Abstract: A control system for processing machinery has at least one sequencer for processing machines to each of which at least one processing machine is connected, a controller for controlling the sequencer and a bus converter for converting signals flowing in a bus in the case where a first bus of the sequencer and a second bus of the controller are made on the basis of different specifications. In this system, even if manufactures of the controller and the sequencer are different each other, an appropriate signal conversion is performed based on difference of specifications of both buses, and therefore secure connection adapted to real time control can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 5143269
Abstract: A medical stapler includes a front wall having an opening at a lower end portion thereof. A mirror is mounted in the vicinity of an upper edge of this opening. A straight line, representing a wound pinched by a pincette by the operator, is reflected on the mirror. The operator adjusts the posture of the stapler so that the straight line of the actual wound can be aligned with the straight line reflected on the mirror, and in this condition the staple is shaped so as to effect the suturing of the wound.

  • Patent number: 5142139
Abstract: A printing machine such as a rotary offset press includes a printed material monitoring apparatus comprising sensor units for detecting light reflected from a number of unit pixel domains which are divided in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which a print surface of a printed material flows, optical fiber units for transmitting light reflected from the unit pixel domains to the sensor units and a signal processing unit for processing signals transmitted from the sensor units. The sensor units comprise detection sensors each being equipped with a plurality of light reception elements corresponding to the unit pixel domains respectively. The light reception elements are arranged in a plurality of rows of a fixed amount in a direction in which the print surface of the printed material flows to form groups of fixed amount of rows in which the light reception elements are arranged.

  • Patent number: 4757244
Abstract: A rod member provided with magnetic and non-magnetic portion arranged alternatingly is provided and a plurality of detecting heads for detecting magnetic resistance are disposed along the longitudinal direction of the rod member with predetermined distances, respectively. The pitches of the respective pairs of the magnetic and non-magnetic portions are arranged with pitches different with each other by the predetermined distances. Output signals transmitted from the detecting heads in accordance with the relative movement between the rod member and the detecting heads are detected by phase detectors, and on the basis of the detected signals, the predetermined operation is carried out in an operation processing unit thereby to obtain the absolute positional relation between the rod member and the detecting heads in, for example, of a positioning system such as in a die casting machine.

  • Patent number: 4710770
Abstract: A digital mode phase modulation type position detector utilizing a resolver as the phase modulating element is disclosed in which the phase of the modulated signal is determined by comparing it with that of the follower signal, the phase of which is adjusted to that of the modulated signal. The phase difference between the modulated and the follower signal is detected at the ends of the half-periods thereof to effect the adjustment. To make the adjustment more precise, an adjustment circuit may further be provided which generates evenly spaced pulses in the present half-period of the follower signal at a frequency corresponding to the rotational speed of the resolver during the preceding half-period of the modulated signal. These pulses are used to adjust the phase of the follower signal more closely to that of the modulated signal.

  • Patent number: 4611269
Abstract: An apparatus and a process for detecting an absolute positional value relating to mechanical movement of a member to be measured from a reference point. The apparatus includes a detecting means with a plurality of detectors having periods which are different from one another. Each detector generates an electric signal having a period corresponding to the movement of the member. The signals are stored in a memory. Then, the absolute value of mechanical movement between one of the detectors and the member is specified by using two values. The first value is derived by multiplying the period of the signal corresponding to the one detector by an integer N. The second value is stored in the memory and corresponds to the one detector's partial movement which is less than one period thereof. The value of the integer is decided by using periods and stored values corresponding to other detectors.
