  • Publication number: 20230042810
Abstract: A blood-viscosity measurement blood collection tube includes a bottomed tube provided with an opening at one end in a length direction and a bottom at the other in the length direction, and a sealing plug. The sealing plug includes a sealing part fitted in the opening of the bottomed tube in a hermetically sealed state, a cap part, and a thin connecting part. The sealing part includes a vertically penetrated insertion hole. The sealing part of the sealing plug is fitted in the opening of the bottomed tube, and an inner space of the bottomed tube is in a negative pressure state. The cap part is configured to be removed from the sealing plug by breaking the connecting part with an external force applied to the cap part, and the insertion hole is exposed at an upper surface of the sealing part when the cap part has been removed.

  • Publication number: 20230031399
Abstract: A blood-viscosity measurement method uses a collection tube includes a bottomed tube having an opening at one end in a length direction and a bottom at the other end in the length direction. A sealing plug includes a sealing part fitted in the opening of the bottomed tube in a hermetically sealed state, a cap part, and a thin connecting part. The sealing part includes a vertically penetrated insertion hole and fitted in the opening of the bottomed tube. The method includes collecting blood using a negative pressure state of the inner space, applying an external force to the cap portion to break the connecting part and removing the cap part to expose the insertion hole at an upper surface of the sealing part, and obtaining blood viscosity by causing a viscosity-measurement falling body to fall from the insertion hole, and measuring a fall terminal velocity of the falling body.

  • Patent number: 8573029
Abstract: A configuration capable of suppressing a variation in the measurement result of a falling body viscometer is proposed. Provided is a method of sending a falling body of a falling body viscometer when sending the falling body loaded in a loading unit of a loading holder into a measured substance, in which the falling body of the falling body viscometer is sent out in a manner such that the falling body is sent out from the loading unit by pressing the falling body using an extruding pin, thereby suppressing a variation in the measurement result.

  • Patent number: 8555706
Abstract: A novel configuration for a falling body viscometer using an electromagnetic induction sensor, wherein the time at which a falling body passes through the electromagnetic induction sensor can be specified with enhanced accuracy. This enables the falling speed of the falling body and in turn the viscosity of a fluid to be measured with increased accuracy. A falling body viscometer is provided with a first pair of coils located at the outer periphery of a measuring container so as to be separated from each other in the vertical direction, and also with a second pair of coils located at the outer periphery of the measuring container so as to be separated from each other in the vertical direction and to be located below the first coil pair, a specified distance away therefrom.

  • Patent number: 8485018
Abstract: A technique used to determine a falling state of a falling body, such as whether the falling body reaches a falling termination speed and falls uniformly or falls with a change in the speed is provided. In particular, a method of determining a falling state of a falling body passing through a measured substance inserted into a measuring container is provided, the method including: measuring a first elapsed time which is a time interval between extreme values of two potentials generated in a first coil pair when the falling body passes through the first coil pair and a second elapsed time which is a time interval between extreme values of two potentials generated in a second coil pair when the falling body passes through the second coil pair; and determining the falling state of the falling body by comparing the first elapsed time with the second elapsed time.
