  • Publication number: 20110071832
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to make an act of viewing an image interactive and further enriched. A microphone 18 inputs a voice signal of a voice uttered by a viewer who is viewing a display image displayed on a display portion 17, and causes the voice signal to be stored in a buffer 19. A voice recognition portion 20 identifies at least one word from the voice uttered by the viewer based on the voice signal, and acquires them as a keyword. A counter 21 calculates the number of incidences of the keyword. A display driver 16 causes information including a keyword having a number of incidences that exceeds a threshold value or information derived from the keyword to be displayed together with the display image displayed on the display portion 17.

  • Publication number: 20100296434
Abstract: In a wireless communication system including a plurality of wireless terminal apparatuses and a relaying apparatus, the relaying apparatus performs a channel search to select a wireless channel in a good communication situation when the relaying apparatus transmits a beacon signal at a constant period, and transmits switching destination information to be used to switch the wireless channel to the selected one in a state of being stored in the beacon signal. When the communication situation of the wireless channel has deteriorated, the relaying apparatus switches the wireless channel being used by the communication section to the selected one based on the switching destination information. When the communication situation of a wireless channel of the wireless terminal apparatus has deteriorated, the wireless terminal apparatus switches the wireless channel to the selected one based on the switching destination information.

  • Publication number: 20090237527
Abstract: An image data imaged consecutively is divided into three groups in time series. As for a first group imaged most newly, all imaged image data are held in buffers. The image data of a second group is divided again into subgroups at every 2N images. In the second group, the number of pieces of image data to be recorded in a certain subgroup is twice the number of pieces of image data held in the buffer in the subgroup imaged in the past adjoining the certain subgroup. In a third group, the image data having been held in the buffer included in the subgroup imaged in the earliest in the second group will be all held in the buffer.

  • Publication number: 20090207263
Abstract: An image capturing unit outputs an image data signal. A first moving picture data generating unit generates first moving picture data based on the image signal from the image capturing unit. A trigger signal generating unit causes a trigger signal to be generated, every time a predetermined trigger condition is met, while the first moving picture data generating unit is in process of generating the first moving picture data. A second moving picture data generating unit causes, every time the trigger signal is generated, generation of moving picture data corresponding to an image signal of the predetermined period of time based on the point of time the trigger signal has been generated. A recording unit effects recording of the first moving picture data and the second moving picture data.
