  • Publication number: 20100124850
Abstract: A manual disconnect system includes a battery part, a disconnect part, a circuit assembly and a fuse assembly with a fuse connector and a circuit connector connected to the battery part. The battery part has a main compartment and a fuse assembly subcompartment. The disconnect part is releasably connected to the battery part. The fuse assembly is releasably received by the fuse assembly subcompartment. When the disconnect part is connected to the battery part, the fuse assembly and the fuse connector are electrically connected together and the circuit assembly and the circuit connector are electrically connected together. Upon detaching the disconnect part and the battery part from each other, the circuit assembly and the circuit connector are electrically disconnected from one another while the fuse assembly remains releasably connected to the battery part in the fuse assembly subcompartment and electrically connected to the fuse connector.

  • Publication number: 20100099288
Abstract: A terminal assembly includes a cable, an electrically-conductive terminal piece, a cavity block member and an electrically-conductive shielding member. The cable has an electrically-conductive core strand, an electrically non-conductive wire insulation surrounding the core strand, an electrically-conductive shield layer surrounding the wire insulation and an electrically non-conductive sheath surrounding the shield layer. The terminal piece is electrically connected to the core strand. The cavity block member defines a cavity block member passageway extending through the cavity block member. The cavity block member passageway is sized to slidably receive and retain the terminal piece therein. The shielding member defines a shielding member passageway extending through the shielding member. The shielding member passageway is sized to slidably receive the cavity block member. The shielding member is connected to the shield layer.

  • Patent number: 7044762
Abstract: The connector of the present invention refers to a waterproof connector that includes contact terminals connected to the contact terminals of another connector in a contact manner, a main body housing that has a through hole for housing the contact terminals, and a tubular connector seal that consists of an elastic member fitted around the circumference of the main body housing, where the connector seal is pressed against the inner circumference wall of the housing of the other connector when the waterproof connector is connected to such other connector in a fitted manner to prevent water from permeating the connector, whereby a tubular sliding hood is installed on the connector seal as to be freely slidable in the main body housing, and is pushed down to the tip of the housing of the other connector in the process of connection, while the connector seal is pressed against the inner circumference wall of the housing of the other connector.
