  • Publication number: 20050157500
Abstract: An illumination apparatus has a frame with a plurality of fins, at least one thermally conductive sheet and at least one illumination module. The illumination modules are positioned on the frame, and the thermally conductive sheets are positioned between the frame and the illumination modules. • Patent number: 6912344
Abstract: A thermo-optic wave-guide switch. The switch selectively switches the paths of an optical signal. The thermo-optic wave-guide switch includes a multi-mode wave-guide having an input port, a first output port and a second output port, and a thin film heater formed on the side of the multi-mode wave-guide. When the thin film heater does not provide the multi-mode wave-guide with heat and a signal is received by the input port, the first output port outputs the signal in a cross state according to the self-image theorem, and when the thin film heater provides the multi-mode wave-guide with heat and a signal is received by the input port, the second output port outputs the signal in a bar state.

  • Publication number: 20050086629
Abstract: A method of identifying and defining forbidden pitches or forbidden pitch ranges for a lithographic exposure tool under a given set of exposure conditions is provided. In the method, a computer simulation is performed, and its results are compared to frequently used pitches to see if such frequently used pitches may yield depth-of-focus (DOF) values greater than the focus budget for the exposure tool. If so, a verification test is performed by using a test mask and actually exposing a surface with the same pattern pitches simulated. From this, actual DOF values are obtained and compared to the focus budget of the exposure tool. Any pitches having a DOF value greater than the focus budget are designated as forbidden pitches. This forbidden pitch information may be integrated into a design rule to restrict the use of such forbidden pitches under the given exposure conditions where they are likely to arise.

  • Patent number: 6543812
Abstract: A self-locking quick release coupler includes a handle and a lever. The first distal end of the handle is adapted to be secured to a side face of the groove adapter. The handle has a head formed on the first distal end thereof. The head is extendable into a side face of the groove adapter so as to secure a tube inserted into the groove adapter. The lever partially extends through the handle to be pivotably received in the handle. The lever has a hook formed on a first distal end of the lever to adapt to hook a pin of the groove adapter and a press formed on a second distal end of the lever. The pivotable movement of the lever allows the hook of the lever to selectively hook the pin so as to secure the handle relative to the groove adapter.

  • Patent number: 6032934
Abstract: A shock-absorbing device includes a first crank member, a buffering unit and a second crank member. The first crank member has a first hole formed therein. The buffering unit is inserted into the first hole, and has a cylindrical hollow outer wall, a cylindrical hollow inner wall coaxially mounted in the outer wall, an annular rubber cushion disposed between the inner and outer walls, and a shaft extending through and engaging the inner wall. The outer wall engaging the first crank member. The second crank member is connected to and is rotatable about and together with the shaft. The rubber cushion is deformed by the outer and inner walls in order to retard pivotal movement of the first crank member relative to the second crank member about the shaft.

  • Patent number: 5816623
Abstract: A self-locking quick-disconnect coupling device includes a female coupler including a stop formed thereon and an opening defined therethrough. A male adaptor through which a recess is defined is insertable into the female coupler. A cam handle includes a handle portion and a cam portion rotatably mounted on the coupler between a releasing and an engaging position so that the cam portion is moved through the hole into the recess. A hooking element is pivotably linked to the handle portion. The hooking element includes a barb projecting therefrom and including an inclined surface. A locking control element including first and second distal ends is pivotably linked to the handle portion. The inclined surface will slide on the stop when the cam portion is pivoted from the releasing position to the engaging position thus allowing the barb to snap into engagement with the stop when the cam handle is in the engaging position.

  • Patent number: 5622201
Abstract: A bucket valve with a removable handle includes a tubular valve body, a piston disposed with the valve body and a crank arm integrally formed of a central sleeve and two spaced fingers. The fingers are pivotally retained to the piston. A drive shaft is drivingly disposed in and extends from the central sleeve of the crank arm to project through and beyond the valve body to connect by a distal tip thereof to a handle via an axle sleeve. An `L`-shaped latch is resiliently retained in the axle sleeve whereby the combined axle sleeve and handle are removably retained to the drive shaft. The handle has a forked tip forming an outer upper face, a central fork and an outer lower face against each of which a knob can abut in a first, second and third position respectively.

  • Patent number: 5285997
Abstract: A device for locking a lever for pivoting a valve contained in a valve housing. A recess is formed in the valve housing. An annular groove is formed in the recess. A spring is sited in the recess. A latch has a relatively large middle section connecting an upper section with a lower section. The latch is sited in the recess so that the lower section thereof is inserted in the spring and that the middle portion thereof is sited on the spring. A C-ring engages in the groove so that the latch is trapped in the recess. A hole is formed in the lever. The hole has an upper section and a relatively large lower section. A wedge surface is formed on the underside of the lever. A button has a body connecting with a relatively large head and a groove formed about the body. The body of the button is inserted through the upper section of the hole. A C-clip engages in the groove formed about the body so that the button is trapped in the hole.
