    Abstract: A multi-purpose timer comprising a control member, a first and second slide plates which can be operated by the control member, a microswitch which is operated by the first slide plate, a "snooze" actuating member connected to the second slide plate, a "snooze" operating member which is engageable with the second slide plate, a switch operating lever which is engageable with the first and second slide plates, and a timer setting drum, the timer mechanism, "sleep" mechanism and "snooze" mechanism being selectively used by change-over operation of the control member.
