    Abstract: A marker delivery device includes a grip, a cannula, a push rod, and a marker element. The cannula extends distally from the grip. The push rod is configured to move within the cannula and includes a distal end with one or more seals configured to seal against an interior of the cannula. The marker element includes one or more barbs. The push rod is configured to generate a pressure within the cannula between the one or more seals and the marker element to eject the marker element from the cannula.

The needle includes a piercing tip, wherein the piercing tip includes a base portion, a first cutting portion and a second cutting portion, wherein the first cutting portion and the second cutting portion extend distally from the base portion, wherein the base portion defines a first diameter, wherein the first diameter of the base portion corresponds to the first diameter of the cannula, wherein the first cutting portion defines a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge, wherein at least a portion the first cutting edge and at least a portion of the second cutting edge extends outwardly beyond the first diameter of the base portion.
