The above photoresist layer supporting polyester film is excellent in transparency and handling properties (slipperiness), and the above photoresist film laminate has excellent resolution and is almost free from circuit defect.

C., (B) it has a refractive index in the thickness direction in the range from 1.505 to 1.55 and a refractive index in the plane direction in the range from 1.61 to 1.66, and (C) it exhibits excellent shaping processability when it is laminated onto a metal sheet and subjected to deep drawing. This film exhibits excellent shaping processability, heat resistance, resistance to embrittlement under retort treatment, and flavor retention and is useful for coating inner and outer surfaces of metal cans such as those containing beverage or food.
