  • Patent number: 8518508
Abstract: This invention provides a tube having durability against harsh flexion, shrinkage, torsion, or the like and reduced slip resistance between tubes or upon contact with another member. Such tube is used for a product comprising a site at which a plurality of tubes are fixed at both ends and tied together with each other and/or in contact with another member, and the sites of fixation at the both ends are sites of motion at which reciprocal movement is repeated. Such tube is obtained via extrusion molding of a thermoplastic polyether ester elastomer and has a satin-finished outer surface. The invention also provides a method for preparing such tube.

  • Publication number: 20090053444
Abstract: This invention relates to a control tube comprising an inner core tube or tubes and a protective sheathing, wherein the inner core tube or tubes are predominantly composed of hydrocarbon-based elastomers and the protective sheathing is composed of a non-halogen and non-phosphorus flame retardant resin composition containing magnesium hydroxide and a silicone flame retardant. Use of such control tube reduces or eliminates influence on people who are engaged in handling a related product and influence on the environment throughout the process, including production, use, and disposal of the control tube.

  • Patent number: 5551735
Abstract: A tube fitting includes a tubular body, an annular clamping member, a tubular inner pipe, a releasing member, and a sealing ring. The clamping member is disposed axially movably in an axial bore of the body, and includes a claw and an outer peripheral portion. The claw has an inclined surface projecting in a centripetal direction as the inclined surface extends away from an opening of the body, and engages with an outer peripheral surface of a tube fitted into the axial bore via the opening. The outer peripheral portion contacts with a regulatory surface of the body, and is pressed in a centripetal direction thereby, and accordingly presses the claw onto the outer peripheral surface of the tube. The inner pipe is disposed in the tube coaxially with an inner peripheral surface of the tube at an end of the tube. The releasing member includes a tubular base and a leading end. The base is disposed axially movably in the axial bore on an outer side with respect to the regulatory surface.
