  • Publication number: 20010015036
Abstract: A front door structure is configured such that a front lower frame can be disposed farther toward the front within an inner space of the door in order to minimize an obstructed passenger viewing area. To this end, in a vehicle front door structure having a front lower frame 6 and a rear frame 7 adapted for guiding vertical movement of a window glass 5 and opposedly disposed forward and rearward, respectively, within a hollow door body portion 1a, a distended portion is formed in a hinge side panel 4 which constitutes the front portion of the door body portion 1a, by forwardly enlarging an inner space of the door body portion 1a. The front lower frame 6 is disposed with its lower end received within the distended portion 9, thus enabling the front lower frame 6 to be disposed farther toward the front within the door body portion 1a.

  • Patent number: 6039465
Abstract: A service cover for a rear combination lamp is provided with a substantially rectangular cover body having an area enough to close a working hole, first and second retainer portions projecting from a pair of opposite sides of the cover body in opposite directions, respectively, and a jaw portion formed at a tip end of the first retainer portion for preventing the falling of the service cover. The working hole is closed by inserting the first and second retainer portions into slits formed at both edge portions of the working hole, respectively, and the working hole is opened by drawing the second retainer portion from the corresponding slit and rotating the cover body about the first retainer portion.

  • Patent number: 4643383
Abstract: A vehicle seat adjusting means for differentiating the seat height value at longitudinal points of a seat to compensate for differing passenger physiques. The apparatus comprises a handle which is manually actuated and operatively connected to an input shaft of an anti-back drive coupling and linkage means which are located at the front and rear portions of the seat. The effective length of the rear link is adapted to be longer than that of the front link in order to lift the rear portion of seat more than the front portion.

  • Patent number: 4541672
Abstract: A reclining angle adjustment device including a pair of locking mechanisms provided at either side of a seat. One locking mechanism cooperates with the other by means by connecting mechanism which includes a play therein. Thus, movement caused by one locking mechanism is transmitted relatively delayed to the other locking mechanism thereby preventing the locking mechanisms from being half-locked based on inconsistency of parts.

  • Patent number: 4522078
Abstract: A device for adjusting the height of a cushion in the rear part of a seat, which has a movable element engaged with the threaded part of a rod, a link rockably mounted at a stationary member, pivotally secured at one end thereof to the element and pivotablly secured at a second end thereof to the rear part of the seat, a bearing section formed at the stationary member for bearing the end portion of the rod, a first stationary ring mounted on an end portion of the rod at a position corresponding to a first end of the bearing section, a first synthetic resin ring having large friction reducing effect interposed between and in contact with a first end of the bearing section and the stationary ring, and a second synthetic resin ring and a cushion material ring in a compressed manner interposed between and in contact with a second end of the bearing section and a second stationary ring mounted on a portion of the rod at a position corresponding to the second end of the bearing section.
