  • Patent number: 7940335
Abstract: A video signal output circuit includes a sync-tip clamp circuit fixing a sync-tip level of an input video signal at a constant voltage, a low-pass filter receiving the video signal output from the sync-tip clamp circuit and eliminating a predetermined high-frequency component, a dummy circuit receiving the video signal output from the sync-tip clamp circuit and outputting the video signal having substantially the same sync-tip level as that of the video signal output from the low-pass filter, and an output driver receiving the video signal output from the low-pass filter and outputting the video signal with a low output impedance. The sync-tip clamp circuit controls the sync-tip level of the video signal output from the dummy circuit such that the sync-tip level of the video signal is equal to a predetermined reference voltage.

  • Publication number: 20090086106
Abstract: The video amplifying circuit amplifies the video signal with a given gain. The charge pump circuit generates the other voltages from a given fixed voltage in order to provide the video amplifying circuit with a plurality of mutually different power supply voltages. The oscillating circuit provides the charge pump circuit with a clock frequency. Noise caused by the clock frequency of the charge pump circuit is flown into the video amplifying circuit. The oscillating circuit sets the clock frequency so as to visually reduce the quality deterioration caused by image noises that occur in an image generated from the video signal processed by the video amplifying circuit.

  • Publication number: 20080002057
Abstract: A video signal output circuit (1) includes a sync-tip clamp circuit (3) fixing a sync-tip level of an input video signal at a constant voltage, a low-pass filter (4) receiving the video signal output from the sync-tip clamp circuit (3) and eliminating a predetermined high-frequency component, a dummy circuit (5) receiving the video signal output from the sync-tip clamp circuit (3) and outputting the video signal having substantially the same sync-tip level as that of the video signal output from the low-pass filter (4), and an output driver (6) receiving the video signal output from the low-pass filter (4) and outputting the video signal with a low output impedance. The sync-tip clamp circuit (3) controls the sync-tip level of the video signal output from the dummy circuit (5) such that the sync-tip level of the video signal is equal to a predetermined reference voltage (VREF).

  • Patent number: 7310246
Abstract: A capacitor charging circuit does not include a Zener diode and makes it possible to integrate a large number of circuits and elements within a semiconductor integrated circuit. The capacitor charging circuit includes a flyback transformer having a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a tertiary coil, a switching element that turns the current that flows through the primary coil on and off, a capacitor that is charged by a current produced in the secondary coil through the on-off action of the switching element, and a charge control circuit that controls the on-off action of the switching element. When the switching element is off and a voltage produced at a first end of the tertiary coil is larger than a reference voltage corresponding to the predetermined voltage of the charge voltage of the capacitor, the on-off action of the switching element is stopped.
