  • Patent number: 7329521
Abstract: It is intended to provide a strain capable of producing transglutaminase at a high efficiency; and a process for producing transglutaminase by using this strain. A structural gene from Streptomyces mobaraensis and a promoter and a terminator acting on this structural gene are externally transferred into Streptomyces mobaraensis to give a transformant. Transglutaminase is produced by culturing this transformant.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 9, 2003
Date of Patent: February 12, 2008
    Assignee: Amano Enzyme Inc.
    Inventors: Kensuke Yuuki, Kinya Washizu

  • Patent number: 5436132
Abstract: A method of determining tenascin in a cerebrospinal fluid sample by immunoassay, etc. is disclosed. The tenascin level in the cerebrospinal fluid serves as a glioma marker and thus the selective diagnosis of glioma is possible.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 22, 1993
Date of Patent: July 25, 1995
    Assignee: Amano Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Shigeki Kimura, Kinya Washizu, Jun Yoshida
  • Patent number: 5420025
Abstract: A DNA gene which encodes transglutaminase, a plasmid in which the DNA gene is incorporated, a transformant transformed with the plasmid and a process for the production of transglutaminase that comprises culturing the transformant.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 18, 1993
Date of Patent: May 30, 1995
Assignees: Amano Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Ajinomoto Co., Inc.
