  • Publication number: 20140361570
Abstract: A system is provided for storing items in the bed of a pickup truck. The system includes a bed liner, storage bin sides, storage bin tops, and storage bin dividers. The storage bin sides and storage bin tops are attached to the bed liner to create storage bins, and the bin dividers attach to both the storage bin sides and bed liner to divide the storage bins into smaller sections. Storage bin tops may include a center section cover to selectively cover the center section in between the storage bins in order to provide the full bed area above the storage bins for transporting construction material.

  • Publication number: 20140327264
Abstract: A system is provided for storing items in the bed of a pickup truck. The system includes storage bins, storage bin covers, storage bin dividers, and a removable cover. The storage bins may be divided by the storage bin dividers, and items within the storage bins may be protected from the elements, and from theft, by the storage bin covers. The removable cover may fit in between the storage bin covers and provide a flat storage surface in conjunction with the storage bin covers, that provides the full truck bed area for additional storage of larger items. The removable cover also provides for storage underneath the removable cover such that long, irregularly shaped, or valuable items may be stored securely and be protected from the elements, and from theft.

  • Patent number: 7691224
Abstract: A thermal polymer-bonding method includes initially placing into contact certain polymer-based first and second solid media at a first junction. A first superficial portion of the first solid medium is liquefying through the application of thermal energy to the first junction. The liquefied first superficial portion is superficially or topically applied to the second solid medium whereafter the topical application may be solidified via the action of cooling or withdrawal of thermal energy from the first junction. The solidification of the liquid elements, having maximized surface area contact between opposing media, bonds the first solid medium to the second solid medium. A third polymer-based solid medium may then be placed into contact with the first solid medium at a second junction, whereafter certain select second superficial portions of the first and third solid media may be liquefied, and re-solidified to bond the third solid medium to the first solid medium.

  • Publication number: 20080048011
Abstract: A shrink tubing jacket construction enables blade-free or enhanced removal of shrink tubing from an underlying substrate, such as a catheter construction. The shrink tubing jacket construction comprises a length of shrink tubing and one or more tear members located within the wall of the shrink tubing. The wall of the shrink tubing has a certain first material strength and the tear member has a certain second material strength, such that when the tear member is in tension, the second material strength functions to slice through the wall of the shrink tubing for enabling blade-free removal of the same. Paired tear members may be diametrically opposed such that when simultaneously tensioned in a diametrical direction, the net stress on the underlying substrate is minimized during the slicing action.

  • Patent number: 4949514
Abstract: A liner for a rain gutter and the like comprises a body of porous solid material which is installed in the gutter to form an upper barrier surface. The barrier surface has a plurality of undulations. Longitudinally extending projections at the side portions of the body function as sealing structures to seal the liner with the gutter side walls. The liner and gutter form a lower longitudinally extending liquid passageway. Liquid passes through the liner to the passageway while solid debris remains on the upstream of the side of the barrier surface.
