  • Publication number: 20170356020
Abstract: A method for producing a purified beta-1,3-glucan includes growing a biomass from genus Euglena organism and dewatering the grown biomass. The biomass is lysed to form a lysed biomass, which is washed and dewatered to produce a beta-1,3-glucan. The beta-1,3-glucan is dried to produce the purified beta-1,3-glucan.
