  • Patent number: 11057139
Abstract: Mitigation of inter-base station resynchronization loss in wireless networks including contention-based shared frequency spectrum is discussed. Aspects of such mitigation provide for base stations entering into an idle mode when a transmission opportunity occurs in a radio frame of the next resynchronization occasion. Additional aspects provide for the base station to signal a flexible listen before talk (LBT) frame length to the user equipment (UE), either with or without explicit signaling of the downlink-uplink division. Further aspects provide for the base station to signal a reset indication to UEs that will prompt the UEs to monitor for downlink channel reserving signals prior to the current LBT frame ending by the resynchronization occasion.

  • Patent number: 11025471
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for providing a code cover to Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in a multiple user system. A data sequence is received from each of a plurality of users. Further, a reference sequence is generated for the data sequence of each of the plurality of users. Each of the reference sequence is multiplied with a code cover which are orthogonal to each other. Each of the reference sequence is time-multiplexed with corresponding data sequence, to generate a corresponding multiplexed sequence. Further, a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) is performed on each of the multiplexed sequence to generate a corresponding DFT-spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) symbol. Lastly, the corresponding DFT-s-OFDM symbol is processed for transmitting over corresponding one or more channels.

  • Patent number: 11023157
Abstract: Generally described, aspects of the present application correspond to enabling rapid duplication of data within a data volume hosted on a network storage system. The network storage system can maintain a highly distributed replica of the data volume, designated for duplication of data within the volume and separate from one or more other replicas designated for handling modifications to the data volume. By providing increased parallelization, the highly distributed replica can facilitate rapid duplication of the volume. When a sufficiently large request to duplicate the data volume is received, the system can create additional duplicate portions of the volume to further increase parallelization. For example, a partition of the highly distributed replica may be repeatedly duplicated to create a large number of intermediary duplicate partitions. The intermediary duplicate partitions can then be used to service the duplication request rapidly, due to increased parallelism.

  • Patent number: 11016807
Abstract: A computer-implemented method include sending a first cycle of received event data to an external system for processing and while waiting for the external system to confirm that processing of the first cycle of received event data has been completed, receiving a stream of additional event data for processing and assigning some of the additional event data to a second cycle of received event data, wherein the second cycle has a scheduled transmission time to be sent to the external system for processing. The second cycle of received event data is prevented from being sent to the external system when the scheduled transmission time arrives because the external system has not returned confirmation that processing has been completed for the first cycle.

  • Patent number: 11010089
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to creating virtualized block storage devices whose data is replicated across isolated computing systems to lower risk of data loss even in wide-scale events, such as natural disasters. The virtualized device can include at least two volumes, each of which is implemented in a distinct computing system. Due to separation between volumes, replication lag may occur, in which data persisted to a first volume is not immediately persisted to a second volume. Such lag can increase a potential for data loss in the event that the first volume fails. Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to managing data loss risk by determining an expected maximum difference between the data stored at the two volumes, in a manner that does not require decrypting the data written to the volumes or perfect knowledge of the state of the distributed system at a single point.

  • Patent number: 11012263
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method implemented in a cloud radio access network (C-RAN). The method includes transmitting channel state information (CSI) reference signals to plurality of user equipments (UEs). The method includes receiving a measured downlink (DL) CSI from each UE among the plurality of UEs. The DL CSI corresponds to a plurality of antenna ports associated with a set of remote radio heads (RRHs) in cluster. Further, the method includes estimating an uplink (UL) CSI for each UE antenna port. The UL CSI is estimated using a pre-defined pilot structure received from each UE. The DL CSI or UL CSI is defined with respect to BS and UE antenna port pair. Furthermore, the method includes deriving a calibration coefficient for each antenna port based on measured DL CSI and estimated UL CSI. The calibrated DL CSI is used to precoder the data using a linear or non-linear precoder.
