Publication number: 20240121081Abstract: An access control system is disclosed for controlling access to a resource. A request is received by a location attribute policy (LAP) server to access an encrypted resource. The LAP server accesses a resource policy that identifies requirements for granting access to the encrypted resource, such as a list of attributes of the requestor that are required and a dynamic attribute requirement of the requestor. The LAP server receives a cryptographic proof from the computing device that the requestor possesses the attributes and validates the proof based at least on information obtained from a trusted ledger. Once the proof is validated, the LAP server provides a shared secret associated with the dynamic attribute requirement to a decryption algorithm. The decryption algorithm uses the dynamic attribute shared secret in combination with one or more attribute shared secrets from the requestor to generate a decryption key for the encrypted resource.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 10, 2022Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Ramarathnam VENKATESAN, Nishanth CHANDRAN, Ganesh ANANTHANARAYANAN, Panagiotis ANTONOPOULOS, Srinath T.V. Publication number: 20240099192Abstract: A cleaning system for use in an agricultural combine harvester comprises a crop-processing platform and a rotatable finger. The crop-processing platform is arranged to receive crop material thereon and reciprocate in a fore-aft manner to process crop material. The finger auger extends laterally in proximity to the crop-processing platform and comprises flighting of fingers arranged to convey crop material laterally upon rotation of the finger auger.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: YOGESH N. Publication number: 20240086138Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, the render rate is varied across and/or up and down the display screen. This may be done based on where the user is looking in order to reduce power consumption and/or increase performance. Specifically the screen display is separated into regions, such as quadrants. Each of these regions is rendered at a rate determined by at least one of what the user is currently looking at, what the user has looked at in the past and/or what it is predicted that the user will look at next. Areas of less focus may be rendered at a lower rate, reducing power consumption in some embodiments.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 26, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Eric J. Patent number: 11925232Abstract: In some examples, a system (1900) includes a hearing protector (1920); at least one position sensor; at least one sound monitoring sensor; at least one computing device configured to: receive, from the at least one sound monitoring sensor and over a time duration, indications of sound levels to which a worker is exposed; determine, from the at least one position sensor and during the time duration, that the hearing protector is not positioned at one or more ears of the worker to attenuate the sound levels; and generate, in response to the determination that at least one of the sound levels satisfies an exposure threshold during the time duration and the hearing protector is not positioned at one or more ears of the worker to attenuate the sound levels, an indication for output.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2017Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: 3M Innovative Properties CompanyInventors: Steven T. Patent number: 7599291Abstract: The present invention provides an improved receiver for data-rate detection in a signal received from a transmitter of a cellular radio communication system including multiple transport channels supporting variable data-rate transmissions. This is accomplished by a computationally efficient technique for data-rate detection. The improved receiver receives data and TFCI associated with each of the multiple transport channels. The receiver then obtains a maximum number of valid transport format combinations and a maximum number of TFCIs that can be formed. The receiver then computes a subset of TFCIs using the obtained maximum number of valid transport format combinations and the maximum number of TFCIs, and decodes from the computed subset of TFCIs within the frame to reduce computation during decoding and to improve data-rate detection reliability.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2001Date of Patent: October 6, 2009Assignee: Sasken Communication Technologies LimitedInventor: Kiran T

Patent number: 7310324Abstract: The present invention provides an improved transmitter for processing data blocks including bits of data coming from multiple transport channels in a transmitter of a radio communication system supporting variable data-rate transmissions. This is accomplished by using a computationally efficient technique for processing the received data blocks for variable data rate transmissions. The improved transmitter receives the data blocks including the bits of data from multiple transport channels. The transmitter then forms rectangular arrays including a predetermined number of columns and rows using the received bits of data such that the columns are based on a segmented radio frame size suitable for variable data-rate transmission. The transmitter then equalizes and interleaves the formed columns and reads out bits of data in the equalized and interleaved columns column-by-column. The transmitter then multiplexes the read-out bits of data for variable data-rate transmissions.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2003Date of Patent: December 18, 2007Assignee: Sasken Communication Technologies LimitedInventor: Kiran T
