  • Publication number: 20240139461
Abstract: A portable, efficient, integrated humidification system for use, e.g., with a positive airway pressure devices. The portable, efficient, integrated humidification system described herein offers many advantages over current humidification systems! There are many advantages to a portable respiratory humidifier. Portability reduces the amount of space the humidifier occupies in the user's bedroom environment. Portability enhances travel for the user. With less to pack, carry, and manage, the user is more likely to remain adherent to therapy when not at home. Portability allows for better utilization in recreational vehicles, while camping, in foreign countries, in the sleeping cabins of trucks or airliners, and on marine craft.

  • Publication number: 20240121869
Abstract: Devices and methods that use returned power (RP) measurements during microwave energy delivery to perform one or more functions. For example, such microwave devices and systems with one or more features to measure the returned microwave power. One or more measurements of the returned microwave power may be used to obtain information about one or more of: antenna shape, system status and system performance. One or more measurements of the returned microwave power shaping elements may also be used to obtain information about one or more properties of the target material. Devices and methods for delivering microwave energy to a variety of target materials to achieve a variety of desired microwave effects.

  • Publication number: 20230414270
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are provided for treating conditions of the heart, particularly the occurrence of arrhythmias, more particularly atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia, to name a few. The devices, systems and methods deliver therapeutic pulsed electric field energy to portions the heart to provide tissue modification, such as to the entrances to the pulmonary veins in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. Such tissue modification creates a conduction block within the tissue to prevent the transmission of aberrant electrical signals. Generally, the tissue modification systems include a specialized catheter, a high voltage waveform generator and at least one distinct energy delivery algorithm. Example embodiments of specialized catheter designs are provided and include a variety of delivery types including focal delivery, “one-shot” delivery and various possible combinations.
