  • Patent number: 10480773
Abstract: A canopy light including a frame, a venting cap, an electrical assembly and a light transcending cover. The frame has a cavity defined by a base and an upstanding structure defining an upper perimeter edge. A component cavity venting system includes a drainage chamber in communication with the cavity through a communicating port. The drainage chamber has an ingress opening. A drain opening is isolated from the communicating port, to allow drainage from the drainage chamber, while substantially preclude the passage of a fluid through the drain opening, into the drainage chamber and through the communicating port into the cavity. The venting cap extends over the ingress opening of the drainage chamber, substantially sealing the same. The electrical assembly includes a power supply and at least one LED light assembly, positionable within the cavity.

  • Patent number: 10400987
Abstract: A light fixture assembly configured to direct light outwardly and downwardly, while precluding the directing of light upwardly. The light fixture assembly comprises a housing, an LED light and a reflector. The LED light includes a mounting surface and a light emitting member. The mounting surface is coupled to the housing, and in particular on an inside surface of the upper side wall, with the light being directed in at least a downward direction. The reflector includes a second portion which is positioned within the inner cavity and below the LED light. The second portion is angled at least at 45° relative to a horizontal axis in an operational configuration. The reflector directs light imparted by the light emitting member in at least one of a downward and an outward direction, while precluding the directing of light imparted by the light emitting member in an upward direction.

  • Patent number: 9243785
Abstract: A wall mount light assembly having a mounting base and a light housing. The mounting base has a base wall, and a plurality of walls extending outwardly therefrom that terminate at a distal end. The foregoing cooperatively defining a front opening perimeter. The base wall and the front opening perimeter are oblique to each other. The light housing comprises a lens portion and a mating perimeter. The lens portion and the mating perimeter are oblique to each other. The mating perimeter of the light housing and the front opening perimeter are configured to matingly engage in at least two different orientations. In each of the orientations, the position of the base wall relative to the lens portion is different, so as to direct a light emanating through the lens portion in a different direction.
