  • Patent number: 9906499
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method of activating user access of a Secure Data Exchange (SDE) Client of a SDE system, and computer program products for securing electronic communications over an electronic mail or messaging system. In one embodiment, a computer program product is disclosed that includes instructions for: (1) activating access of a user to a Secure Data Exchange (SDE) System based on a Unique User Identifier (UUI) associated with the user and an authentication code, wherein the authentication code is based on an email address of the user and other parameters or values known by the SDE system, (2) verifying the user has the access based on both the UUI and the authentication code, and (3) providing a plurality of converters and a User Data Transaction Identifier (UDTID) to a SDE client of a verified user in response to a request therefrom.

  • Patent number: 9185086
Abstract: A SDE system and a computer program product for secure data communication are provided herein. In one embodiment, the SDE system includes: (1) a processor and (2) a SDE client configured to determine if a document is a secure data document and if not, determine if a user is authorized to create secure data having a predetermined extension by verifying authentication code associated with the user, wherein the authentication code is based on an email address and a user defined identifier associated with the user. If authorized, the SDE client configured to employ a plurality of converters to create a secure data document and direct an electronic mail system to send the secure data document to recipients of a recipients email list provided by the user, wherein the secure data document includes a predetermined extension.

  • Patent number: 9088568
Abstract: A SDE manager, a method of communicating secure data through a generic electronic delivery system and a SDE client located on a computing device of a user are disclosed. In one embodiment, the SDE manager includes: (1) a SDE portal and (2) a SDE DTA configured to activate access of a user to an SDE system based on an authentication code generated from an e-mail address, a password and a pin provided by the user, generate a unique account number for the user after activation, and thereafter verify the user has the access based on both the unique account number and the authentication code, the SDE DTA further configured to provide a plurality of converters to a SDE client of a verified user in response to a request therefrom.

  • Patent number: 5999942
Abstract: A method and apparatus for changing the behavior of a target application processing system is disclosed. The target application processing systems includes at least one information model including one or more actions defining a process flow having an expected behavior. A second database defines a plurality of other actions wherein each of the actions has a selected behavior associated with the action. Upon selection of one of the actions from the second database, execution of the selected action produces a behavior associated with the action to change the process flow of the target application processing system in accordance with a newly defined behavior.

  • Patent number: 5903878
Abstract: A method for providing validated electronic commerce transactions is disclosed. A transaction order generated by a purchaser has a unique transaction identifier associated therewith and the purchase order is transmitted to a merchant and then to a transaction administrator. The transaction administrator contacts the original purchaser and provides the generated unique transaction identifier to confirm whether or not the transaction order was initially provided by the purchaser. Upon verification of origination of the transaction order by the purchaser and other transaction information, the transaction administrator notifies the merchant and the transaction may be completed.

  • Patent number: 5067072
Abstract: The present invention relates to a virtual software machine for providing a virtual execution environment in a target computer for an application software program having one or more execution dependencies that are incompatible with a software execution environment on the target computer. The machine comprises a plurality of independent processes, and a virtual control mechanism having a virtual management interface (VMI) for generating requests for execution to the plurality of independent processes and receiving results of such processing. The requests for execution and the results are communicated via a message exchange mechanism. The machine also includes a pre-processor for generating a pre-processed application program in which the execution dependencies are masked. A compiler/linker receives the pre-processed application program and the virtual control mechanism and generates executable code for the operating system of the target computer.
