  • Publication number: 20150373962
Abstract: A leader rig for use in fishing includes a leader line having a distal end and a proximate end with a central line portion located there between. One or more spoons or spinners can be attached to the central line portion. The spoons or spinners are movable along the central line portion and are removable from the central line portion. As such, the leader rig is strong, customizable and capable of use in fishing for a wide variety of target fish.

  • Patent number: 5129473
Abstract: An improved liquid cooled heat management system for a snowmobile vehicle is described. To maintain the under-the-hood air temperature at optimum operating values while providing the necessary cooling for the vehicle's internal combustion engine, an air inlet opening is formed in the hood or other body panel of the snowmobile defining the engine compartment and disposed within this engine compartment is an appropriately sized heat exchanger through which the liquid coolant is made to flow when the engine is running. The air inlet opening in the hood or body panel leads into a duct or shroud designed to enclose the heat exchanger or radiator on the fan suction side and a engine-driven fan also disposed within the duct draws outside air through the heat exchanger at a rate that is directly related to engine speed. Because of the manner in which the duct work is structured, warmer, under-the-hood air is effectively isolated from the stream of cold outside air drawn through the heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 4942838
Abstract: A manually transportable, internal combustion engine driven personal watercraft is described. It comprises a rigid, relatively thin fiberglass or other suitable plastic hull with inflatable tubular fabric reinforced sidewalks extending along opposed side edges of the hull from the stern to the bow. Insetted into the hull is a baseplate on which an IC engine/pump module can be readily coupled and uncoupled. The baseplate includes a water inlet scoop in fluid communication with the pump's inlet and an exhaust port which becomes aligned with the exhaust outlet of the IC engine when the two are joined. The pump's high pressure water outlet is pointed in the aft direction above the waterline and the craft is propelled by the reaction force resulting from the high velocity water jet.

  • Patent number: 4633964
Abstract: A small, light-weight snowmobile having a chassis frame assembly comprised of a front frame member supporting a pair of steerable skis and a driver's seat and a rear frame member supporting an engine and a drive track device. The rear frame is swingably connected to the front frame by a parallel link mechanism and the arrangement is such that the driver is situated lower to the ground whereby the feeling of traveling at higher than actual speed is enhanced.
