  • Publication number: 20240023478
Abstract: An improved bulk transfer system for an agricultural seeder or planter breaks up the central fill system into two stages for supplying a plurality of agricultural products simultaneously to an array of metering pods, each pod containing a plurality of metering assemblies. Firstly, there is a continuous transfer of agricultural product from a trailing product cart to intermediate mini tanks mounted on a central frame and located adjacent the seeding drills and plurality of metering assemblies. The pressurized mini tanks receive agricultural products on demand. Secondly, agricultural products are transferred on demand from the mini tanks to each of the corresponding metering assemblies along the seeding drill. This arrangement enables redistribution of the weight of the bulk of the product farther away from the seeding drills, allowing for greater tow-behind product volumes.

  • Patent number: 9295875
Abstract: A recumbent stepper system has a tubular frame, a left leg assembly, a right leg assembly and a resistance mechanism. The leg assemblies are supported by the frame for pivoting movement about a central pivot axis. The leg assemblies each include an upwardly extending pedal arm terminating in a pedal. A left belt is coupled to the pedal arm of the left leg assembly and engages a left one way clutch and a left pulley. A right belt is coupled to the pedal arm of the right leg assembly and engages a right one way clutch and a right pulley. The resistance mechanism directly engages the left and right one way clutches via a resistance mechanism belt.

  • Patent number: 6491717
Abstract: A thermally regulatable, pulsating cushioning device having a deformable outer membrane being adapted to sealably receive a liquid material therein; a foam core being encased within and in intimate contact with, but not bonded to the flexible, deformable outer membrane wherein the foam core has a dimension substantially coincident with the outer membrane; a liquid material, sealably contained within the flexible, deformable outer membrane and saturating the foam core, with the liquid material being at least partially circulatable throughout the foam core, wherein the cooperation of the saturated foam core and the sealable flexible membrane provide a uniform, thermally regulatable medium and structural support such that the pulsating cushioning device is readily, uniformly deformable when a load is applied thereto; a means for directly pulsating the liquid within the flexible, deformable outer membrane, causing the device to undulate or vibrate; and a thermal regulator cooperating with the liquid material to e

  • Patent number: 6128795
Abstract: A thermal regulating cushioning device for heating and/or cooling is provided. The thermal regulating device comprises a flexible, deformable outer membrane being adapted to sealably receive a liquid-like material therein. A foam core is disposed within the flexible, deformable outer membrane wherein the foam core has a dimension substantially coincident with the outer membrane. A liquid-like material is sealably contained within the flexible, deformable outer membrane and saturating the foam core with the liquid material being at least partially circulatable through the foam core wherein the cooperation of the saturated foam core and the sealable flexible membrane provide a uniform, thermal regulating medium and structural support such that the cushioning device is readily, uniformly deformable when a load is applied thereto. An external heater and/or cooler circulates the liquid through the cushioning device.

Abstract: A thermal regulating cushioning device includes a flexible, deformable outer membrane and a foam core contained therein having a dimension substantially coincident with the outer membrane. A liquid-like material is sealably contained within the outer membrane and saturates the foam core with the liquid-like material being at least partially circulatable through the foam core. The cooperation of the saturated foam core and the sealable flexible membrane provide a uniform, thermal regulating medium and structural support such that the cushioning device is readily, uniformly deformable when a load is applied thereto.

  • Patent number: 5632051
Abstract: The invention is a cooling pillow container insert which provides a continuous cool pillow surface and absorbs a pillow user's lost metabolic heat. Preventing thermal discomfort which causes pillow flipping and tossing and turning is the primary goal of the invention. The container slides between a conventional pillow and pillow case. The container is composed of a soft vinyl bag which snugly surrounds a fluid saturated porous foam core. A resealable valve allows fluid to be added or removed at will and the container's temperature to be adjusted. The container promotes heat transfer from the pillow user to the container. The heat is then dispersed uniformly throughout the container's fluid ensuring a uniformly cool pillow surface. Heat is also continuously lost to the surrounding environment. A pillow user's sleep is enhanced in warm temperatures without using an energy source. The container insert can also be used with or without a pillow, as a cooling bed for an animal or a pet.
