  • Publication number: 20220192171
Abstract: In an aspect, a pest control system is provided, and includes at least one monitoring device and a control system. The at least one monitoring devices includes sensing circuitry, communication circuitry and a plurality of possible states which correspond to a plurality of actions of a target species. The sensing circuitry detects states from the plurality of possible states and the communication circuitry transmits at least one dataset relating to the detected states. The control system includes at least one processor and at least one memory, where the memory stores the at least one dataset transmitted from the at least one monitoring device as a stored dataset and the memory has instructions stored therein which are executable by the at least one processor for identifying a change in the actions of the target species of pest based on the at least one stored dataset.

  • Publication number: 20180035657
Abstract: In an aspect, a pest control system is provided. The pest control system includes a pest confinement chamber for receiving a pest attractant, and a chamber base for supporting the pest confinement chamber. The pest confinement chamber is provided with at least one pest aperture to permit entry of a target pest into the pest confinement chamber. The chamber base includes a housing body containing an illumination assembly for illuminating the pest confinement chamber.

  • Publication number: 20170188565
Abstract: In an aspect, a pest control system is provided, and includes a housing and a tray. The housing includes a housing body defining a housing compartment, and a housing cover that is removably connectable to the housing body. The housing has at least one aperture to permit access by a target pest to the housing compartment from outside the housing. The tray has a tray body and a tray cover. The tray body contains a pesticide for the target pest and has an opening sized to permit access to the pesticide by the target pest. The tray cover sealingly covers the opening but only covers a portion of an exterior of the tray body. The tray cover is removable from the tray body and is disposable. The tray fits in the housing compartment.

  • Publication number: 20130223677
Abstract: This is a method of counting trapped insects that makes it possible to count the trapped insects without having to open the trap. The method involves using a trap made with a transparent polymer making up at least one side of the trap allowing an image to be made of the insects trapped inside with an imaging device.
