Abstract: An image capturing device includes a wireless receiver, at least one input device, a memory, and a processor. The memory includes a learned commands table that stores one or more received remote control commands and associated user input commands. The processor receives a remote control command from the wireless receiver, receives a user input from the at least one input device, recalls a user input command corresponding to the user input, associates the remote control command with the user input command, and stores the remote control command and the user input command in the learned command table.

Abstract: A template for a scanner system comprising a template body and an element for generating an optical pattern when scanned by the scanner system is provided. A method of scanning an image on a transparent media comprising executing a reflective scan by the scanner system over a predefined carriage translation distance, comparing data imaged during the reflective scan with a reference pattern and determining subsequent scan procedures based upon the results of the comparison is provided. A scanner system comprising a reflective scanner, a transparent media adapter operable to backlight a transparent media and a template comprising an element for generating an optical pattern when scanned by the reflective scanner is provided.

A scanner system for scanning images on a roll of media including a reflective scanner and a media adapter that includes a mount for holding the roll of media, a gatherer for holding an end of the media, and a feed mechanism that advances a predefined length of the media onto the gatherer thereby exposing a subsequent portion of the media is provided.

Abstract: A light weight, portable, temperature regulated enclosure for the pre-heating of artificial insemination guns and the transportation of loaded artificial insemination guns to the place of usage is disclosed. A flexible, planar heater using an etched electrically resistive metallic foil heating element and attached temperature sensor provides regulated heat to the interior of the enclosure.

Abstract: A peripheral device for a computer is powered by an internal rechargeable battery. A data line electrically connects the peripheral device to the computer. The data line has conductors that provide for data transmission between the computer and the peripheral device. The data line also has conductors that provide for power transmission from the computer to the peripheral device. The peripheral device uses the power transmission conductors to recharge the battery, thereby eliminating the need for a separate power line to be associated with the peripheral device.
