    Abstract: An integrated multi-port generator-rectifier device includes multiple passive output ports provided from a plurality of passive-rectifier windings on a common, single magnetic structure. The passive-rectifier windings interact with a plurality of magnetic poles. Coils in the passive rectifier windings are serially connected. Each of the passive rectifier windings has a pitch as that is a fraction of magnet pole pitch and a pattern to magnetically decouple back emf phases of the separate rectifiers. The device further includes an active port provided by an active rectifier.

The cryocooler assembly includes a vacuum vessel surrounding the heat load and a cryocooler at least partially inserted into the vacuum vessel, the cryocooler including a coldhead. The actuator is configured to translate the cryocooler coldhead into thermal engagement with the heat load and to maintain constant pressure of the coldhead against the heat load to facilitate maintaining thermal engagement with the heat load as the heat load shrinks during a cool down process.

A seal is coupled to the motor housing and the motor housing and configured to direct the fluid into the pump housing when the pump piston is in the first position and to direct the fluid out of the pump housing when the pump piston is in the second position.

The rotor structure may include at least one rotor lamination, which in turn may include at least one slot arranged to receive at least one permanent magnet. The slot divides the rotor lamination into a pole region and a yoke region. At least one bridge is arranged to connect the pole region to the yoke region at an outer edge of the lamination. The outer edge of the lamination is profiled along a segment of the bridge to define a concave curved profile for the bridge. The concave curved profile for the bridge allows to selectively size a thickness of the bridge to affect at least some electromagnetic and/or mechanical characteristic of the machine.
