Abstract: A game can allow a player to participate in a live event as if the player were one of the participants. In one embodiment, the present invention includes capturing information about a live event and generating a game based on the captured information. The game can than be provided to, via an interface to a mobile client device. The user of the mobile client device can play the game by creating user input, which can be received by a game server from the mobile client device via the interface. The user input than can be used to virtually perform an action in the game, and the result in the game can then be compared with the result in the live event.
